Craniosacral Therapy and Jikiden Reiki for dogs, cats, horses and…..bearded dragons

Craniosacral therapy is a very beneficial modality for animals. Their bodies respond well to the light touch, and any physical restrictions, tensions and imbalances are released quickly. This light touch helps to calm and re-set the nervous system, which brings the body back into balance, the ideal condition for healing and change to occur. These treatments can help for many different physical issues, and are perfect for animals who experience anxiety, depression and other behavioral difficulties. I also often use Craniosacral therapy in conjunction with Jikiden reiki, depending on the situation.

I can provide these treatments in-person if you are local (Delta), or I can provide them remotely via Zoom, Skype or FB messenger.

I started doing remote sessions for these treatments last year and have been so pleased with the results. They are particularly beneficial for animals that might not be comfortable with strangers.

Here is a story about Henry’s remote Craniosacral treatment. Henry is a sensitive 4 year-old cat who was diagnosed with stress-induced bladder issues:

“…After multiple trips to the vet and two overnight stays, Henry was prescribed multiple medications, including an anti-depressant, an opioid and a tranquilizer. When Henry’s condition worsened, the vet also began preparing us for the possibility of a very invasive surgery, should his condition persist. None of this sat well with us. We requested that Henry be weaned from the meds and decided the surgery must be avoided. We decided to try a non-invasive treatment to see if we could turn Henry’s condition around. I knew Lucy to be a very skilled Craniosacral therapist and animal lover, and that she had combined these two passions. Lucy happily assessed and treated Henry remotely with very good success. Lucy provided her thoughtful, kind and patient care to Henry. Within a few days Henry was doing much better and is now fully recovered. Thank you, Lucy for sharing your wonderful skills to help our boy.” – K.Seimens
